Today’s Daily Prompt brought up one of the most anxiety-filled moments of my life: the day I had to speak in front of hundreds of people at my grandfather’s funeral.

As someone who lives with severe anxiety, I almost backed out. My heart was racing, my hands were shaking — but I showed up anyway, and it became one of the proudest moments of my life.

    1. Exactly! I think back now and I’m so proud I didn’t back out. I was so close to saying no as soon as I saw all the people there. I just focused on my daughters and once I started I was perfectly ok 🥰
