For years, people told me my anxiety was “all in my head.”
Doctors. Friends. Family. Even strangers online.
Everyone had an opinion — and none of them understood what it actually felt like.
But there was one moment that changed everything for me.
I remember sitting in the grocery store parking lot.
I had already talked myself into going inside three different times.
My hands were shaking on the steering wheel.
My chest felt tight.
My vision felt blurry from holding back tears.
And I kept telling myself:
“It’s just a store. Why are you like this? What is wrong with you?”
That’s when it hit me.
If this were “all in my head,” then why was my body reacting like it was in danger?
Why did my heart pound like it was running a marathon?
Why did my breath feel trapped in my throat?
Why did I feel frozen, unable to move?
This wasn’t dramatic.
This wasn’t weakness.
This wasn’t attention-seeking.
This was my nervous system misfiring.
This was my body believing something was wrong even when nothing was happening.
This was REAL.
And for the first time, I realized my anxiety wasn’t a character flaw… it was a physical response I didn’t yet understand.
That day was the beginning of my healing — not because the anxiety went away, but because I finally stopped blaming myself for it.
And that’s exactly what I teach in my course:
To understand anxiety not as a personal failure, but as a biological, emotional, and neurological response that you can work with.
If you’re ready to finally understand what your body is doing — and why — this might be the next step in your healing:
