Some mornings I don’t wake up feeling brave.
I wake up feeling heavy.
Behind.
Already tired of a day that hasn’t even started yet.
If you live with anxiety, you know this feeling. The kind where your body is already tense before your feet even touch the floor. Where your mind starts listing everything you’re afraid you won’t be able to handle today.
And somehow… you still get up.
Not because you’re fearless.
Not because you’re motivated.
But because something in you refuses to give up.
That’s strength — even if it doesn’t feel like it.
If you’re reading this and your nervous system feels fried, I created something gentle to help you reset.
I’ve lived with severe anxiety and panic disorder for over 20 years. And I want to say something that doesn’t get said enough:
You don’t have to be positive to be healing.
You don’t have to be productive to be worthy.
You don’t have to be okay to still be making progress.
Some days, progress looks like deep breathing.
Some days it looks like cancelling plans.
Some days it looks like surviving.
That still counts.
I think a lot of people quietly feel broken because anxiety doesn’t look like it’s “getting better” on the outside. But what’s really happening is you’re learning how to live inside a sensitive nervous system. You’re learning how to ride waves that other people don’t even feel.
And that takes courage.
There’s a post on my blog that explains exactly what anxiety does to the body and mind, and why it feels so overwhelming sometimes.
You can read it here if you want a deeper understanding of what’s happening inside you.
If your anxiety has made you feel behind in life… I see you.
If you’ve had to rebuild your confidence over and over again… I see you.
If you’re tired of feeling like you’re “too much” or “not enough”… you are not alone here.
You don’t have to heal perfectly.
You just have to keep showing up.
And today, you did.
For those who are ready for something a little more structured than blog posts, I created a step-by-step anxiety recovery course that walks you through understanding anxiety, calming your nervous system, and rebuilding confidence at your own pace.
No pressure. No rush.
Just support, when you need it.
If this post made you feel a little less alone, feel free to leave a comment or share it with someone who might need it too 🤍
