Daily writing prompt
What do you enjoy doing most in your leisure time?

What I enjoy most in my leisure time is anything that helps my nervous system slow down 🌿

Quiet moments matter to me. Sitting with a warm drink, writing, listening to soft music, or doing something simple with my hands helps me feel grounded again. I also love spending time at home with my family, where things feel familiar and safe.

After years of living with anxiety, I’ve learned that leisure doesn’t have to be exciting to be meaningful. Sometimes the most healing thing you can do is allow yourself to rest without guilt 🤍

And on the days when calm feels harder to reach, I remind myself that support can be simple too. That’s exactly why I created Calm Me Right Now — a gentle, grounding tool for moments when your nervous system just needs a little help settling.

Those small, calm moments add up more than we realize.

  1. This sentence stood out to me the most..resting without feeling guilty 😔..lot of us like to label resting as being lazy or procrastinating. As you stated that, the quiet moments, the calmness and just doing something simple is all you need to feel less anxious.

    1. That’s totally fair. To be honest, I thrive on calm and chill but at the same time I race a mud truck in the summer which is incredibly loud and fast so that’s definitely the complete opposite but it gives me the same feeling
