What do I complain about the most?
If I’m being completely honest…
I complain the most about how tired I am of feeling like I have to be strong all the time.
Not physically tired (although that too), but emotionally exhausted from holding everything together while anxiety quietly runs in the background.
I complain about how anxiety doesn’t always look dramatic.
Sometimes it looks like overthinking simple decisions.
Sometimes it looks like needing reassurance I don’t ask for.
Sometimes it looks like smiling while my nervous system is in survival mode.
I complain about how hard it is to explain this to people who’ve never felt it.
How “just relax” isn’t helpful.
How “you seem fine” can feel incredibly lonely.
And yes… I complain about how long recovery can take.
Because healing isn’t a straight line.
It’s progress, setbacks, patience, and learning how to be gentle with yourself on the hard days.
But here’s the thing I don’t complain about enough…
The fact that learning how to cope changes everything.
Learning how to calm your body.
Learning how to interrupt anxious spirals.
Learning how to trust yourself again.
That’s why I share my story here.
And why I created resources for people who feel exactly like this.
💚 If you ever need something grounding right now, I created a simple guide you can use in the middle of anxiety—not when you’re already calm.
👉 Calm Me Right Now is here whenever you need it.
And if you’re ready to work on anxiety at a deeper level—at your own pace, without pressure—my Calm & Confident Anxiety Recovery Course was built from lived experience, not textbook advice.
You’re not weak for complaining.
You’re human.
And you’re allowed to want things to feel easier.
You’re not alone in this.
Not even close. 🌿
