Not because it’s fast or flashy—but because it connects people who would have otherwise suffered in silence.
For me, the internet became a lifeline. It’s where I learned that anxiety wasn’t a personal failure. It’s where I found words for what I was experiencing, coping tools I could try at 2 a.m., and proof that I wasn’t alone.
Now, it’s where I get to give that back.
Through my blog and my anxiety course, I can reach people who live in small towns, who can’t access therapy easily, or who are quietly struggling while holding everything together on the outside. I can say “I’ve been there”—and have someone on the other side of the screen finally feel understood.
The internet didn’t just change how we communicate.
It changed who gets access to support, validation, and hope.
And for people living with anxiety, that matters more than anything.

I like the internet but I would be ok without it as well! Why? As long as everyone is playing with the same rules then I can deal with whatever happens to be the ‘status quo!’
That’s absolutely fair! 😁
