For years, I called everything “stress”. Deadlines, errands, even heart racing mornings…I blamed stress and thought I was overreacting. It wasn’t until I learned the difference between stress and anxiety that I started understanding myself better.

Stress is usually tied to a specific situation. A project, a test, or a busy week. It rises and falls with the situation.

Anxiety is more persistent, often showing up when everything seems “fine”. It’s less about circumstance and more about mind react internally.

Recognizing the difference changed my approach to coping. I stopped blaming myself for “overreacting” and started giving myself tools to handle anxiety differently.

Daily affirmation:

” I honor my feelings and respond with compassion, not judgement.”

✨ Take a Deep Breath
